KING'S BRASS CONCERT

The King's Brass, a Christian musical group consisting of three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, keyboard and percussion, will be performing a concert on Sunday, July 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Windsor Center in Iron River.

Formed over four decades ago in Detroit, The King's Brass is comprised of professional musicians from across the country who desire to use the instruments they love to lead others in praise and worship.  Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, the group plays over 150 concerts per year from coast to coast as well as international destinations.  This year, The King’s Brass celebrated its 46th Anniversary Season with trip a to the Holy Land in March!

"We are so excited to be able to bring The King's Brass back to Iron County," said Erika Sauter, Grace Covenant Church Worship Committee. "Concert-goers can expect a worshipful and musically-exceptional experience."

The group has played in Iron County several times over the years, but each concert is unique and features a different group of musicians.  The King’s Brass provide innovative worship through the “best in sacred brass music," playing a wide variety of music from Gabrieli to hymn classics, from Handel to jazz spirituals, from gospel songs to patriotic marches. The King’s Brass uses all corners of the concert hall to lift hearts and spirits in praise.

Sponsors are appreciated to help cover the cost of the concert as it there will be no admission fee. Those who would like to make a donation can make checks payable to Grace Covenant Church with a memo "King's Brass Concert" and mail them to 316 Jasper Street in Iron River or make a donation online at gccir.org

"Save the date for Sunday, July 27th and plan to attend this special music event," encouraged Sauter. For more information, email egsauter@gmail.com or call (906) 265-9951.
